Adobe contracted with mPOINT to launch a live streaming online video solution for NFL.com.
The Metropolitan Opera
The Metropolitan Opera is a more than 100 year old New York cultural icon that is home to some of the world's most creative and talented artists. When they wanted to expand their audience by bring some of their historic opera productions online, they called on mPOINT. mPoint architected an online opera subscription solution and digitized 180 hours of operas from a 100 Mbit MPEG2 format into DivX SD & HD, MPEG2 – TS, and MPEG2 – PS formats for delivery to a range of video player partners. The solution was a huge success, resulting in hundreds of new paying customers and a transcoding and delivery infrastructure that is 80% faster at half the price.
SnagFilms
SnagFilms features free ad-supported viewing of more than 650 award-winning titles from some of the greatest names in documentary film production and distribution. Since its launch in July 2008, SnagFilms virtual movie theater widgets have been seen 500 million times, on more than 21,000 web pages, including those of The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Politico. SnagFilms uses TranSend to edit and transcode their video cheaper and faster than traditional post house services. They also use mPOINT’s ingestion servers to help their content partners prepare and upload their films to Snag's CDNs via S/FTP and Aspera.

Specifically designed for media and entertainment providers, IBM Media Hub Solution Framework is a standards-based, services oriented architecture (SOA) approach to integrating business and media production applications into a single, streamlined, file-based workflow. IBM uses a standards-based interface to integrate transcoding work processes with mPOINT’s TranSend solution. IBM’s decision to integrate TranSend into the Media Hub Solution Framework means that Media Hub users will have immediate access to the full range of TranSend services.
